cover up!

Last Friday I spent the better part of my day tagging my music files. Over the finals season I’ve gotten hold of at least 80 albums. They’ve been sitting in my hard drive devoid of any intelligible organization marked by a glaring absence of id3 tags. These three songs were set on repeat for the whole day:

Brightest (Copeland) made me smile and remember happy days under a tree with crooked branches behind Quezon hall.

Cruel and Pretty (Over The Rhine) is perhaps the best song about death ever created. The piano hook built upon a major 7th chord is quite effective.

Coffee (Copeland) . Oh yes, coffee. This, my friends, is a an instant classic. At least for me.
